Bio:

Johann Sebastian Bach was a prolific composer and musician of the Baroque era. Bach had 20 children, several of whom became notable musicians. He was known for his exceptional improvisation skills on the organ and was once challenged to a musical duel by French organist Louis Marchand, who ultimately fled the city to avoid the competition.

Famous pieces:

Well-Tempered Clavier, "Goldberg Variations," Violin Sonatas, Cello Suites, Cantatas + Oratorios
